This was filmed from little Italy facing west. This footage is just part of what we saw on and off for about 5 minutes around 730pm. We saw another one again about 10 minutes later. The lights looked like they had a fire-like tail as if it were a meteorite entering the atmosphere. But later on we saw that they were descending too slowly for that and were too big of lights to be flying lanterns. The lights looked like they were just a few miles west of the coronado base or point loma. Pay special attention after second 12, how the lower light leaves a tail of debris that looked a little bit like thos palm tree fireworks.What we filmed here was nothing compared to the light show before filming. If anyone else here saw the same thing on this night in San Diego, leave me a comment just to reassure myself that I'm not losing my fucking mind. Oh yeah, I also called the National UFO about an hour later. Who ever was working the phones over there was getting stormed with calls regarding sightings all over California....Ps I searched for videos relating to mine and found one. What I saw prior and while filming is exaclty what this guy filmed in Tampa Jan 20th, 2008. Again, it's the same meteorite like characteristics(only difference is, my sighting would stop, hold, and change direction).
